Yamamoto and Novoselic Inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame Class of 2022

Established in 2004, the Asian Hall of Fame is a global platform that elevates Asian excellence in the United States and around the world to overcome anti-Asian bias, increase Asian representation, and promote cross-cultural collaboration.

On November 12, 2022 the Induction Ceremony at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California immortalizes 17 members and artist ambassador Ed Roth. Inductee Hiroshima headlines one of their last concerts. Ed Roth performs with Robby Krieger and special guests. Celebration of Life honors group member Norm Mineta and group member Phil Chen. KTLA 5‘s Frank Buckley is master of ceremonies.

On November 18, 2022 the Founders Gala at Sky View Observatory in Seattle, Washington honors 6 members and Artist Ambassador Krist Novoselic of Nirvana. Ambassador artist Danny Seraphine & CTA headlines with The Temptations vocalist Tony Grant. Ed Roth performs with member Daniel Pak, Soundgarden member Hiro Yamamoto, and Krist Novoselic. KING 5‘s Mimi Jung is Master of Ceremonies.

Seattle members are Daniel Pak, Hiro Yamamoto, Karen Wong, Pat Chun, Robert and Ruth Chinn in memoriam, and the first Virginia Cross indigenous member.
